If something here is not covered, ask. A person reads it.
A tablet, a phone or a laptop. A tablet is the most comfortable because the writing area is bigger, but a finger on a phone works, and so does a trackpad or a mouse on a laptop.
No. A finger is fine. A stylus feels closer to holding a pencil, so use one if you have one, but nothing is gated behind it.
Two on every family plan, each with their own profile, their own PIN and their own progress. You can add up to four more children after that, so a family plan covers six children in total.
Two children are included. Each child you add after that costs $37 a year on the Founding Family plan, and $80 a year once that plan renews at the standard annual rate. So a founding household with four children pays $89.99 plus $74 in its first year. You add them from your family page whenever you need them, and the charge is prorated to your renewal date, so a child added part way through the year costs only the part of the year that is left. Six children is the ceiling on a family plan: beyond that, a homeschool co-op license is priced per student, costs less per child, and is the right fit. Ask us about one.
It suits a child who can already form print letters and is ready to join them up, which is usually somewhere around seven or eight. There is no age gate, and older learners who missed cursive at school use it too.
By the route, not by how much of the letter got covered. Progress is tracked along the stroke and the direction of travel is checked, so a letter is credited only when it was genuinely written the way it is formed.
They go back to guided tracing on that same letter and try the set again. Nothing is marked failed, no progress is taken away, and there is no limit on attempts.
Yes, any time. An earned letter is never taken back and stars only ever go up, so there is nothing to lose by practicing something finished.
Because cursive a, b and c are three unrelated hand movements. Teaching them in that order asks a child to start again three times. Letters are grouped by the motion they share instead. See the curriculum.
Not yet, and it would be wrong to claim otherwise. The stroke order and direction taught are the same for everyone. Left-handed learners use it successfully, but there is no separate left-handed guidance built in.
Yes, whenever you like. An annual plan runs to the end of the year you paid for, and a monthly plan to the end of the month.
It is kept. Nothing is deleted when a subscription ends, so coming back later means picking up where they left off. Deletion happens when you ask for it, not when a payment stops.
A reduced price for the first year during the launch period, which then renews at the standard annual rate. The exact figures and the renewal terms are on the pricing page, taken live from our records rather than typed into a page.
Profiles are created by you and hold only what running the service needs. We never ask for a child’s surname. Children are shown no advertising, and their information is not sold. See the Children’s Privacy Notice.
Yes. Ask and it is removed, profile and progress together. Email support@skhillzacademy.org.
Yes. A family plan covers two learners at home. For a co-op, a tutoring practice or anything with a roster, see Schools & Organizations.
A family plan is bought by a parent and covers two children in one household, or up to six once further children are added. An organization license covers a roster of learners across a school, program or co-op, is quoted rather than listed, and sits under a separate school-data framework. A household with more than six children wants the second one.
Not today, and it would be misleading to imply there is. Licenses are set up and managed directly with us. If a roster screen is something you need before committing, say so when you ask about licensing and we will tell you honestly where it stands.
