Skhillz Script™ exists because handwriting is a movement before it is a picture, and almost nothing a child practices with can see the movement.
Why it was built
Cursive has quietly slipped down the list in many classrooms. Where it is still taught, and wherever families take it on themselves, the tool is usually a worksheet: a row of gray letters to write over, then a blank line to fill.
A worksheet can only show the finished shape. It cannot see where a child began, which way they went round a loop, whether the pen lifted in the right place, or whether the letter was drawn rather than written. A child can fill every line on the page and practice the wrong movement thirty times, and the page will look like success.
Skhillz Script™ was built to watch the movement instead of the result, and to say the one specific thing that would help on the next attempt.
The learning philosophy
Movement, grouped
Letters are taught by the motion they share rather than alphabetically, so each lesson practices one hand movement until it is familiar and the next letter builds on it.
Repetition that is watched
Practice only helps if the thing being repeated is right. Each attempt is scored on whether the stroke was actually followed, so repetition reinforces the movement rather than a habit.
Feedback, then mastery
Every attempt names the single most useful thing to change. A letter is completed on demonstrated performance, and if the mark is not there, the answer is more guided practice rather than a pass.

A word about children
This is a product used by children, so the standard for handling their information is higher than the standard for handling ours. Parents hold the account and create the profiles inside it. We never ask for a child’s surname. Children are shown no advertising of any kind, and their information is not sold to anyone for any purpose.
